Dunlap Middle School Chess Tournament (IESA)

Grade level: 5th-8th grade

Format: Standard Swiss Tourney – 4 rounds

Entry Fee: $5 per student with a cap of $75 for a school.

Other information:

Check in at 9:00-9:30 am, first round starts at 9:45 am.
Bring enough clocks/boards for ½ of your players. This tournament is not rated and is designed to give players experience before the IESA state tournament.
Players are asked to annotate their games. There will be a concession stand serving lunch.
There will be 3 age groups: 8th grade, 7th grade and a 5/6th grade. Trophies and medals will be awarded to the top 5 finishers of each group.
